From A Bucket To A Track

Company Hitachi has started a hydraulic excavator of big class EX1200-6 in sale. As it is clear from the name, it is the modernised variant of older EX1200-5. Sales have already begun – since September, 25th, 2008. For a year the company intends to sell 120 copies of the modernised excavators.

Thanks to a combination of the powerful engine and new hydraulic system, working capacity managed to be lifted on 9 %. Force of lifting of an arrow has increased on 8 % in comparison with earlier model of the excavator. Besides, the novelty began to overcome is better liftings and to turn. The updated dredge differs more durability and will serve longer time. The chassis became stronger, and a cabin – more comfortable. Anew developed suspension bracket reduces vibration level, and the new, more convenient control lever allows to lower loading on the operator. The colour liquid crystal monitor allows to simplify operation even more.

The updated excavator corresponds to the ecological requirements established in Japan, Europe and America.
